Assumption is one of the older parishes in St. Louis – we’ve been around for almost 175 years. Founded in 1839, Assumption today is a community of more than 1900 registered households. We are a Catholic community Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace. Everything we do starts in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the true source and summit of our lives – and our parish ministries.

There are many ways we live our faith here at Assumption: prayer and faith groups, adult and child faith formation programs, associations, committees, organizations and ministries. It seems as though there is always something going on. Maybe that is because God is doing great things among us, in us and through us.
