To make some decisions about the Mass before meeting with the priest:
Funeral Liturgy Planning
A representative of the family should contact the priest who will preside at the funeral to arrange a meeting.

Assumption provides a table for cremated remains to be placed for the liturgy. The table is large enough to include a photo of the deceased, a religious item representing the faith of the deceased, and some flowers.

OFFERINGS AND FEES
Customarily, the following fees are offered:
- $150 fee is often given to the parish.
- $10 fee per altar server (usually there are 3 altar servers).
- $125 fee for the organist.
- $75 fee for the cantor.
- Some families offer the priest a gift.
If the customary fees cause an unreasonable burden, please discuss other options with the priest before the funeral.
