All Assumption ACTS families are invited to
“Fireworks on High”
Julie and Dwayne Boyer have generously invited our community to create a Fireworks with music and potluck event at their home (near 141 & Tesson Ferry). 1127 W. Outer 21 Rd., Arnold, MO 63010. Saturday, March 29th beginning at 5:00 p.m.; arrive no later than 6:00 p.m.; fireworks at sundown (about 7:15 p.m.). The backup date for bad weather is Sunday, March 30th. (If the weekend weather is a bust, the event will be rescheduled.)
CARPOOL if possible! This event capacity is limited by parking. The charge for this event is to cover porta-potties and the misc. items. The Boyers are providing the fireworks!
We are asking everyone to please register via the form below. Registration is on a ‘First Come-First Served’ basis. The fee is $10 for anyone aged 16+; children under 16 are free. Any excess funds will be directed towards offsetting costs of future ACTS Retreats.
A shared ‘Community Food’ table will be set up (in the garage), and each family is encouraged to bring an item to share. The weather may be brisk, so we’ll have chili or soup, but we encourage you to bring other items: ex: sandwiches, pasta, pizza, salad, fruit & cheese items, but also welcome crackers with dips, and other snacks or desserts. Remember to pack the utensils needed to serve your item. Plates, bowls, napkins, and silverware will be on hand. Electric outlets are available for crocks and hot plates.
BRING all of your own drinks. BRING chairs & blankets for your family and lap trays to watch the fireworks and eat. A few dining tables will be available. Questions text: Angie Griffard
