The Assumption Game Night is open to all Assumption Adults (& your friends and family). The cost is $25/person, or you may volunteer and attend for free! Doors open 6:30 p.m.
It will be held in the Church Lower Level, so space is limited. Table sizes are: 4 (small round tables), 6-7 (large round tables, and a few long tables 8-10. The Committee aims to maximize the number of attendees, so please try to fill your table.
If you plan to ‘Host’ a table, please register, pay for yourself and note this on your registration. Your guests can register, pay separately, and name you as his/her Host.
On-line registrations & payments will be given priority (and will shorten the check in time at the event!)
The games will start about 7:30 p.m., which allows time to eat and clear the tables for play.
Food: There will be a Community Table, so every guest, group and volunteer should bring food to share: (appetizers, main or side dishes, salads or desserts), commensurate with the size of your group. The good news is that you get to try many more dishes than you bring!
Special note: If you have a favorite, or fabulous, or delicious specialty cake that your friends and family always LOVE, please call (or text) Sarah Behnen at (314) 795-4553 to discuss how we can bring it the attention it deserves! Fancy Cake Plates will be provided. NOTE: This counts as your food donation to the community table, even though it will be awarded as a prize!
Attendees each receive 2 drink tickets for Wine, Beer or Soda included in the price.
All games are FUN and SIMPLE to learn and play. There will be several different games. Competition is among your own table, though all tables play the same game at the same time. Items needed for the games will be provided. There are no complicated or long games. NO TRIVIA, MONOPOLY or HIGH STRATEGY games. There will be various prizes overall, but remember that this event is primarily a Social, FUN-raiser and also a minor fund-raiser, to subsidize the actual costs of a retreat above the amount paid by participants.
