Classroom:
Math, Religion, & Latin for 6th-8th grade
Educational Experience:
This is my third year teaching, and my first at Assumption. I started my educational career as a Middle School Math TA in Christ the King in University City and soon began teaching religion. While teaching there, I completed my MO 5-9 Math Certification.
Educational Background:
I have a BA in Philosophy from Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. I also have a MO 5-9 Math Certification.
Personal:
I spent several years studying to be a priest and completed my BA in Philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. Eventually, I discerned out of the seminary (and later married my beautiful wife!), but my passion was always in teaching and mentorship. I believe there are few things more important than the education of our young people, and I’m honored to be a part of that. I decided to become a teacher because, eventually, you reach a point in learning where you have to pass it on!
I have six younger brothers, including three at Lindbergh and one at an Assumption rival (which will not be named!). My favorite book is Dostoevsky’s "The Brothers Karamazov", my favorite movie is Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and I love homemade comfort food, though I am partial to the Vietnammese-specialty pho. Finally, as a rule, I always cheer for the underdog when watching sports, unless St. Louis has a team in the playoff!
Hobbies:
My hobbies include cooking, gardening, movies, and games of all sorts.
