I taught 6th grade for 6 years in the Northwest School District. I then stayed home for 13 years to raise my own children. In 2017,
I started working at Assumption as a first grade aide. In the 2020-21 school year, I had the opportunity to get back into the classroom as a full-time teacher. I couldn't be more excited.
I am back to doing what I absolutely love
to do after a long break!
Educational Background:
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in elementary education from University of Missouri-St. Lous in 1998. I received my Masters in Education from Lindenwood University in 2001. I attended St. Peter School for grade school and went to Kirkwood High School.
Hobbies:
I love reading, crafting, cooking, watching volleyball, and spending time with my family.
Personal:
My husband, Steve, and I have two children, Jake and Kylie. Both of them graduated from Assumption (2017 and 2020). They both attend Mehlville High School. Jake works at Assumption as an aftercare teacher. Kylie keeps us busy playing volleyball!
