Education/Experience I taught 4 years in an institutional setting, 13 years at St. Monica, and 8 years at St. Joseph Manchester. I was thrilled to begin teaching at Assumption in 2015 and am blessed to be a part of the Assumption family as the Learning Consultant. I have Bachelor's degrees in Elementary and Special Education and a Masters in Special Education with an emphasis on Inclusion. I am also certified to teach students with Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders. I have been trained in the Wilson Reading System and as a Youth Mental Health First Aider. I have taught various grade levels, in all subjects, with students who have a variety of learning needs and behavior issues. My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. My goal is to maximize your child’s strengths in order to make him/her confident in his/her learning.
Personal As for my personal life, I have 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren. I have too many box and water turtles to count in my "turtle haven". I love to play with my dog, garden and read in the sun.
