Education/Experience I began teaching at Assumption in 2022 but I have been acting and singing in stage productions and professional choirs for years. I also give private lessons in acting and audition preparations. I have a degree in English Literature and I am currently working towards a degree in Elementary Education.
Personal I’ve been married to my husband Jason since 2005 and we have 4 beautiful children. Our son Eddie is at SLUH, our daughters, Julia and Annie, are here at Assumption and our youngest son, John, attends Treehouse. In my spare time (when I have any) I like to read, write, cook, hike, camp, and experience musical theater. I am very passionate about music and theater and feel it is vital that children have a basic knowledge and appreciation, love for the subject. Like literature, music and theatrical plays can feed the soul and mind. It uses elements of the brain that math and science can't touch. Music can help people to feel, dream, and for some (myself included) music can save people. I want to bring the love of music and theater to students by not only teaching musical skills and music history but expanding it by teaching acting, stage direction, plays, and general drama.
