Sacristans perform a verity of duties to assist behind the scenes. They set up and clean up for Holy Mass. They care and cleaning of the sanctuary and two sacristies (dust, vacuum, change candles, etc.) throughout the year. Another group volunteers to launder altar cloths, albs, corporals, purificators, etc., throughout the year. Volunteers from the Assumption community do a thorough cleaning of the church each spring.
