Our Mission: To grow in love of God and neighbor and develop each child’s potential through a Catholic, student-centered education.
Our Vision: Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace
Our Goal: Children of faith prepared for the world.
Our Core Values:
Living the Catholic faith;
Engaging and comprehensive academics;
Developing the whole child; and
Fostering community spirit.
As brothers and sisters in Christ we embrace the call to love one another as Christ loves us. This understanding of family spirit infuses our school and parish community. Each child belongs to a "Virtue Family" with their school buddy where they have opportunities to serve, pray with, and learn from each other. As a family, our students grow in love of God and neighbor, ready to serve their community.
“A first-class school is the glory and crown of a parish,” has been the philosophy of the clergy and parents since the establishment of Assumption Parish. Did you know that Assumption Parish School is the oldest continuously operating Catholic parochial grade school in St. Louis? We’ve been proudly keeping the tradition of Catholic education going since 1848! Click here to read more . . .
