Assumption Senior Ministry (ASM) connects area seniors with God,
with others, and with services that enhance their lives.
ASM unites generations through encouraging volunteers
of all ages to serve Christ in the elderly.
ASM is the umbrella organization assisting or coordinating any program, ministry, or group
that meets the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of any senior living in our Assumption boundaries.This ministry soon is open to our parishioners and all seniors in need
within our boundaries regardless of their background.
Leading this ministry is Laura Benson, who is assisted by her "Core Team".
This “Core Team” consists of parishioners with professional healthcare or eldercare experience;
Peggy Bienfeld, Cindy Bander, Dan Reuter, Deacon Chuck Ryder, as well as Lu Westhoff,
who is the former director of Nazareth Living Center and Judy Talleur, a retired Catholic educator.
