It is a privilege to honor each person who supports Annual Giving at Assumption with recognition as a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Society. Each gift is precious and contributes to the work of the parish and its many ministries. Each gift furthers the work of the parish, including the educational ministry. Assumption Parish is a “place to belong”, a place where God’s Word is fully alive in its people.
Gratitude for gifts to Annual Giving will be expressed through recognition in the Good News Messenger (bulletin), in the glass case in the lower level of the church, and in a special newsletter at the end of each Fiscal Year.
Donors leaving a legacy to benefit Assumption Parish or Assumption Schools will become members of the 1839 Society, and will receive special recognition each year.
The 1839 Society was created to recognize parishioners, alumni/ae, Foundations, and Friends of Assumption who have supported our Mission through a Planned Gift. Planned Gifts include bequest provisions in a will or trust, Charitable Remainder Trusts, endowed gifts, beneficiary designations made with retirement assets or life insurance, and gifts of real estate.
The 1839 Society commemorates the year the parish was founded and the missionary zeal of the early clergy and settlers, and it is a tribute to all whose vision, through a Planned Gift, will touch the future of the parish, ensuring that the Mission of Our Lord will continue to be lived out at Assumption – a living legacy.
The Bishop Rosati Society was created to recognize cumulative giving of parishioners, faculty and staff, alumni/ae, Foundations, corporations, and Friends of Assumption. This giving spirit gives to the vision of the parish, continuing the work of Our Lord - sanctifying, teaching, and serving.
